Friday 7th / 14th / 21st August, 6.30pm to 8pm – “Plaza Jazz People”
Plaza Jazz People founder Jonathan Cohen says: “I’m on the record locally for saying that ‘Music is the best social glue there is’, and my experience of forming Plaza Jazz People has made that feeling stronger. I wanted to bring the best musicians around to play for the people of our area because that’s what Maida Hill deserves – the idea is to inspire local people, showcase our area, and to change hearts, minds and perceptions about our home patch. Whether the musicians have come 3000 miles like New York saxophone star Ingrid Laubrock, or 300 metres like me (I’ve lived in Maida Hill for over 25 years) everyone in Plaza Jazz People has commented on the friendly and appreciative vibe, and the excellent food! We hope there’s something ‘tasty’ for everyone in our mix of jazz and world grooves and vibes.”
Coming Soon…“Lunchtime Tai Chi”
